Jaitley would later follow in her mother's footsteps, participating in various local beauty pageants and eventually Miss India. As a child Celina Jaitley originally wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and join the Army, either as a doctor or a pilot.
She has one sibling, a brother, who does serve in the Indian Army. She attended college at Indira Gandhi National Open University and received a degree in Commerce. But eventually she would follow her true calling, which is modeling and acting.
In 2001 Celina Jaitley was crowned Miss India. She became an instant celebrity after winning the crown. She garnered a lot of attention from people in Bollywood.
Two years after winning the crown, she made her Bollywood debut in the film "Khel." The actress has starred in numerous films since her debut, including "Silsiilay," "No Entry," "Apna Sapna Money Money," "Jawani Diwani: A Youthful Joyride," and "Money Hai Toh Honey Hai."
