The long wait and suspense is over. The grapevine has it that Shruti Haasan has signed her next film in Telugu opposite Siddharth.The film is to be directed by Prakash Rao, son of the legendary filmmaker Raghavendra Rao. Remember that Prakash had produced Morning Raaga the critically acclaimed film directed by Mahesh Dattani. He had also made a few award winning short films.
The lissome beauty was keen on doing a south Indian film after her debut in Bollywood with Luck, a film where she got noticed.
Even though she had a couple of offers from Bollywood, Shruti was going through all the scripts through a fine comb and was not in a hurry to sign new films.
