Ajay Devgn has excelled again in a role which belongs to the territory that could pretty much be considered as his home ground. In his recent release LONDON DREAMS, he has been hailed once again for portraying an intense character quite well even as Salman Khan is winning accolades for his bravura performance. With an out and out comedy ALL THE BEST also successful at the box office, Ajay is happy wearing different hats.
"It's a great feeling that at this stage of my career, I am being seen in movies as diverse as a LONDON DREAMS or an ALL THE BEST. At one point of time, I was doing only intense roles. But believe me, if I would have continued doing that till date with every film, I would have really been bored and fed up by now", says Ajay who has earlier won a National Award for ZAKHM (1998).

Over a period of time, Ajay has been seen in quite a few films that required him to showcase his intense side. HALLA BOL, OMKARA, APAHARAN, GANGAAJAL, DEEWANGEE, COMPANY and THAKSHAK are some of the films that he has done in the last decade which pretty much are a testimony to this fact.
Recently, his LONDON DREAMS co-star Asin had stated that it is Ajay's 'intensity quotient' which strikes one most as an actor. Adding on to the appreciation, she had also said that especially when it comes to dramatic scenes, he just 'eats up the screen'.
Unwilling to get carried away by her statement, Ajay says in a humble tone, "I don't really know if I eat up the screen or do anything like that in my dramatic scenes. Yes, intensity has been my forte and I take her views as a compliment. But as I said, I am loving this phase of my career where I am able to work on diverse films."
