Akbar Khan honoured for TAJ MAHAL at Damascus

After being lauded at Damascus Festival, now filmmaker Akbar Khan has been honoured alongside actors on the likes of Ursula Andress at Damascus for his film TAJ MAHAL... AN ETERNAL LOVE STORY.
Khan was honored for his work with a trophy at the festival by the Syrian Minister of Culture Dr. Riad Naasan Agha. Among others, Apart from Andress, Khan shared the dais with other international awardees such as director Emir Kustarika from Bosnia, Victoria Abril from Spain, Yousra from Egypt, Director Rashid Fersho from Tunisia, producer Marwan Haddad, actress Amal Arafa, actor Khaled Taja and director Najdat Anzour from Syria.
TAJ MAHAL... AN ETERNAL LOVE STORY, is the film where Akbar Khan brought to life on celluloid, the tale of love of the great Moghul emperor Shah Jahan for his wife that withstands court intrigue, dynastic betrayal, war and death itself when he builds her the greatest memorial tomb of all time: the Taj Mahal.
