Multiplexes confident of JAIL picking up further

AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI may have ruled the roost over the weekend and still going strong. However, delighted multiplexes are positive that JAIL too would find it's bearing in the coming days due to its strong content and appreciation.
'I agree that JAIL opened on a low note last Friday. However, it did show a slight jump with every passing day. On Sunday, there were far better collections while Monday was on par with Friday which is always a good sign for any film', says Devang Sampat of Cinemax, 'I am yet to hear anyone coming out of the film and talking negative about it.'

'You can't even compare the collections of JAIL with those of any other commercial masala film. This was a niche film and the collections have been in accordance', says Anand Vishal of Fun Cinemas, 'The movement of JAIL at the box office is positive'
With coming week seeing the release of two medium budget films TUM MILE and AAO WISH KAREIN, it is expected that JAIL would have yet another week of good number of shows before KURBAAN strikes a week later.
'Yes, we should have good number of shows in the second week as well', says Devang. Adds Anand in a cautious tone, 'We are watching the trend carefully and so far it isn't been alarming. Just like other multiplexes, we too would be out with our movie schedule this Wednesday.'
Meanwhile, a source from the industry adds, 'JAIL has been made at a modest budget and domestic theatrical collections along with other means of revenue should take it through.'
