Negativity doesn't bother Emraan Hashmi

Emraan Hashmi is sitting pretty on back-to-back success of RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES and JANNAT. A year earlier, he came up with best ever act of his career in AWARAPAN. Even though he has managed to find a place for himself amongst the most dependable actors that Bollywood currently has, Hashmi has observed that many in the industry have constantly tried to pull him down.
"This is something which has happened ever since I made my debut with FOOTPATH (2003). I went on to deliver successful films practically every year with MURDER (2004), ZEHER & AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE (2005) followed by AKSAR & GANGSTER (2006). Still, people have tried to pull me down", says Emraan who would now be seen in his costliest film till date TUM MILE.
CHECK OUT: TUM MILE is much stronger than JANNAT
He isn't overtly bothered about certain negative statements that have been made around him.
"Honestly, I don't even look on my sides to see who is around for a competition. There is nothing wrong if people choose to reserve certain remarks about me. To each his own since I have to basically live up to my own judgement and fulfill expectations of those who matter", he states diplomatically.
How about the judgement of those who are willing to share it at the drop of the hat?
"In the kind of industry I am, every creative person has a judgement to make on someone else's performance. After doing a movie, even I may think that I have come up with my best act. However, others may think it otherwise. You can't help it", shrugs Emraan.
