3 IDIOTS upsets Chetan Bhagat?

His novel FIVE POINT SOMEONE is the basis of the much acclaimed film 3 IDIOTS. Though, the makers of the film have taken proper permission before the film was adapted into a screenplay, the writer still has a reason to feel upset about.
CHECK OUT: 3 IDIOTS grosses over Rs 100 crores in 4 days
The fact that the film does not bear a single mention of the author in any frame has upset the acclaimed writer. Though, not pointing fingers at the filmmakers, Chetan Bhagat in hushed tones has made reference to this fact in a recent chit chat.
In the earlier screen adaptation of his film HELLO, Chetan Bhagat was given due credit for his work of art but in
3 IDIOTS there's no mention of the same. The author is also upset about rumors that the film bears only 20 percent resemblances to the book. According to Bhagat, 3 IDIOTS is 75 percent like his book FIVE POINT SOMEONE.
Talking about his missing credits from the film, the author says, "Giving credits to the author is the sole prerogative of the filmmakers. The makers have taken proper permission from me and paid the whole amount. It's a matter of personal choice."
