Ramu: Media also fights its own internal battles

RANN is igniting the heat with its release round the corner. In fact other than VEER, it is the biggest multi starrer that the beginning of 2010 would be a witness to this season.
Since RANN means battle field, one wonders what's the kind of battle and between whom that can be expected from this film which is spearheaded by Amitabh Bachchan and features
Riteish Deshmukh, Mohnish Behl, Sudeep and Rajat Kapooras the principal protagonists?
'A battle could be anywhere and everywhere. Whether it is the battle between corporate houses or political world or between people like you and me - it is happening everywhere', director Ram Gopal Varma starts describing his newest effort, 'That's the beauty of a democracy that people can come up with diverse opinions, something which could even result in small battles. Sometimes these battles take the shape of full on wars due to matters of pride, greed and money.'
CHECK OUT: No English for Amitabh Bachchan
Given the fact that there are hundreds of news channels and an equal number of news websites to boast, the crux of RANN indeed sounds enticing enough to check out what does Ramu have in the offing.
'Eventually what is interesting is the manner in which media fights its own internal battles. This is what makes RANN an exciting battle to watch', adds Ramu.
Starring
Gul Panag, Neetu Chandra and Suchitra Krishnamoorthy as the female protagonists, RANN releases worldwide on 29th January.
