Aamir Khan's father Tahir Hussain passes away

Perfectionist Aamir Khan's father Tahir Hussain, who was a well-known filmmaker & writer of his times, passed away here on Tuesday morning around 6 am due to sudden heart attack.
Hussain is known for producing hits like HUM HAIN RAHI PYAR KE that starred son Aamir, DULHA BIKTA HAI, ZAKHMEE, ANAMIKA and CARAVAN. In 1990, he also made his directorial debut with TUM MERE HO starring Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla.
It is being said that the veteran filmmaker, who was not keeping well from quite sometime now, died at Aamir's residence in Bandra. Currently Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao are in US but are likely to return soon. On the other hand Hussain's grandson, Imran Khan, who is in New Zealand will also be coming back.Meanwhile Tahir's body is taken to Mumbai's Leelavati hospital, where all his family members including Aamir's brother Faisal & 2 sisters Farhat and Nikhat have gathered.
