Abhishek Bachchan's small screen debut via Bingo, where most top Bollywood personalities have made an appearance, has been quite a success, quite like dad Amitabh's KBC (though not on the same scale). Not only that, Abhi has been invited to open the 12th London Asian Film Festival to be held from 5 March to 14 March 2010 in London.
In addition to the above, the critical and commercial success of his last film, PAA (with Big B essaying an award sweeping role), has not only cemented Abhishek Bachchan's place amongst the top rung actors of Bollywood, but also proved to be a turning point in his career. The film revived his family's ailing film production house AB Corp and has also turned Abhishek into an entrepreneur.
CHECK OUT: Abhishek Bachchan turns businessman
The actor has taken over the entire responsibility of looking after the business of his family's production house and will now oversee the future strategy of the company. Be it production or distribution, it will be Abhishek who will be involved in all aspects of film making. News is that all films that feature Abhishek Bachchan will now be co-produced or distributed by AB Corp. This is just amongst a few plans chalked up by the company and there are many more to follow in order to make AB Corp a profitable concern.
Well, all of Abhishek's recent achievements will surely make his Paa proud, and Amitabh wont mind (in fact he is thrilled!) at all that Abhishek made a success story out of AB Corp, a rarest of the rare instance where Big B failed.
