Akshay Kumar's son wins Extraordinary child award

Akshay Kumar has much reason to be proud of and no -it isn't for his Box office achievements this time but for the award that was bestowed on his son Aarav for "Extraordinary contribution by a child"
9 year old Aarav received his first ever award from the Global Green Foundation for his contribution to the cause of global warming.
Reveals a source, "Aarav will receive the award during the inaugural function of the Delhi Sustainable Summit in Delhi. The jury was very impressed with Aarav's involvement - the award has been given to him as an acknowledgement to his efforts in preservation and regeneration"
We come to hear that Aarav has adopted a village without electricity and has supplied them with solar lanterns and other energy saving devices.
"Aarav is very involved even though he's just 9 years old and at home too does his bit for conservation be it saving water or electricity or not using plastic "adds the source.
The sad news however was that Aarav's papa Akshay won't be there to watch his son receive the awards as he is in Germany with wife Tina for a doctor's appointment for a hydro-therapy treatment but grandmom Dimple Kapadia will accompany Aarav for the event.
"Akshay and Tina wouldn't want to miss it for the world but they landed an appointment with a doctor whose dates are almost impossible to get hold of. But Akshay is very proud of his son and his participation in this noble cause." says the source
