Big B to do dhishum-dhishum!

Yeah, looks like he is truly gonna change into Angry Old Man! Oops but don’t you dare to call him old, we warn you… read on why. Amitabh Bachchan will soon feature in noted Telugu filmmaker Poori Jagannath’s Hindi directorial debut. And don’t be shocked at the title – it’s ‘Budha - Don't F**k With Him’! Yes, yes you got it right!

The director explained that Big B's character in this is actually quite angry and very violent. It is that of a 60-year old man who refuses to accept his age. And anytime someone calls him budha (old man) he flies off the handle. Uff! Bachke rehena inse… ‘Budha’ will be produced by none other than maverick Ram Gopal Varma.

The filmmaker stated that he had actually written the character keeping Mr. Bachchan in mind. “The challenge was to cast him as a character he hadn't done before. After seeing Paa, I wonder what any director can make him do that's new! I wanted to cast him again as the Angry Young Man I grew up watching in Zanjeer and Deewaar. But the character had to be modified to suit his age. So I thought of a 60-year old man who thinks acts and fights like a young man,” he shared in a statement.

Let us tell you that Poori Jagannath in fact is the one who gave ‘Pokhiri’ – the original Telugu version of ‘Wanted’. And he revealed that Budha is his original screenplay and not of any Telugu remake.

At the moment, Jagannath is keeping his fingers crossed, waiting for Big B’s dates to start the shooting hopefully in April. Woaw, another avatar for our legend!
