Dibakar Banerjee explains relevance of sex in LSD

Dibakar Banerjee isn't shying away from the 'S' word. A Bengali by birth but 'Delhi at heart' boy, he waited for years before KHOSLA KA GHOSLA arrived on screens and hasn't looked back ever since then. With dozens of awards under his belt and a National Award winning OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE following later, Dibakar hasn't just embarked one of the most courageous films to be coming out of Bollywood but also something that defies all norms - LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA. While quite a few are left uncomfortable with the entire idea of a film like this being made, Dibakar continues to be oozing oodles of confidence.
CHECK OUT: LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA is very human & rooted
"Don't worry about me. I am prepared for all the feedback coming my way. Whenever someone attempts something entirely different, there are questions raised. I am happy to have made a film like LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA which is bound to lead to a healthy debate. I am sure next few weeks are going to be a lot of fun", says Dibakar who is fast forming a niche for himself.
A digital film, LSD features a bunch of newcomers with no mainstream trappings to it. Also, sex and voyeurism form a major driving force of the narrative of this film which is now ready and marching forward in post production.
"People ask me that why the word 'sex' as a title of the film. My argument is that this film by itself is a comment on the fact that when just a word like 'sex' is thrown up, there are so many crazy expectations that come to people's mind. Doesn't that say it all? Having said that, the film has oodles of humour and drama that audience would enjoy", assures Dibakar.
Well, with such huge claims, all one can do is wait for the film to arrive in theaters and catch up on what Dibakar has to offer in his newest offering which is aiming for a March release.
