The results are out; the numbers are in and for all to see! As per initial estimations Karan Johar's Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer, MY NAME IS KHAN has netted in the range of 46-48 crores in its opening week from India.
What must be kept in mind is the fact that MNIK lost around 2-3 crores due to release problems in Mumbai circuit and also the dastardly terrorist attacks in Pune. Had it not been so, MY NAME IS KHAN would have easily touched 50 crores, in all probabilities.

The film has in its opening week grossed $2,552,283 from US, £1,325,000 from UK, $1,750,000 (8 days) from Middle East and $521,850 from Australia. In all MY NAME IS KHAN has a huge $8.25 million to show from the overseas market.
With the new releases not posing any challenges, MNIK is all set for another good weekend haul!
