There is not even an iota of doubt that Mani Ratnam's star studded big budget extravaganza, RAAVAN, is certainly one of the most talked about and highly anticipated projects of 2010. The film which stars the real life hot and happening couple of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, also boasts of superstars like Vikram from South and our very own Govinda. After a highly successful outing in GURU with the master, Mani Ratnam, Ash-Abhi are looking forward to wooing the box office once again. The film is near completion (dubbing in process) and is set to release on 18th June.
CHECK OUT: Abhishek Bachchan turns businessman
As we all know, the Bachchans have been associated with the IIFA awards (Amitabh Bachchan is its brand ambassador) ever since its inception and have spared no effort in order to make the event a success by participating in its function in full strength. Abhishek's critically acclaimed Mani Ratnam directed YUVA was first premiered at IIFA and now we hear that RAAVAN is likely to be premiered at the next edition of IIFA, to be held in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, later this year. Though the destination is not yet zeroed on but South Korea appears to be a stong contender.
Quite a wise move by the Bachchans and Mani as IIFA is a popular award function and it will definitely provide RAAVAN with the desired international exposure and acclaim.
