Sameera de-glams for Nagesh Kukunoor

Yeah, the hot babe is soon going to kick off her glamour quotient for featuring in the ace filmmaker’s next venture.

Sameera Reddy said to have bagged a role in Nagesh Kukunoor’s 'Yeh Honsla'. And guess what the beauty’s character is? Well, she is gonna play a Rajasthani village belle in this one. Yes, sans make-up and glam and moreover, with a ghoonghat (read veil)! The actress is in fact quite gung-ho over the film. Talking about her film’s character, she said, “I’m looking forward to Yeh Honsla. Of all the roles that I’ve ever done, Nagesh Kukunoor’s film is ‘it’. It’s where I’ve done my best. I’m a Rajasthani girl, who takes on all the Panchayats. She’s a very strong girl – her name is Rani, and it’s this woman’s story.”

To get into the skin, Sameera first had to work really hard to shed her glamorous look. “It’s like you’re bare – you have nothing to work with except your character – and the focus is just on your emotions. Being glamorous is actually much easier!” added the actress.

In her previous film ‘Red Alert’, one had seen a complete new avatar of Sameera as tribal woman-cum-Naxalite. Let’s wait to watch again this oomph lady transformed into yet another unglamorous character. With Kukunoor at the helm, we are sure to get a hot product…
