Wayne Allwine, Voice of Mickey Mouse passed away

Unfortunately, it’s regretful news to tinsel town as we lost a versatile personality. Wayne Allwine who served as the voice of World Famous Figure of Mickey Mouse breathed his last on Monday early morning. The 62-yr old Wayne was critically suffering from complications of diabetes and finally gave up his life at UCLA Medical Centre.

Allwine started off his career in Walt Disney Company at mailroom in 1966 and fetched Emmy Awards for best Sound Effects Editing for Amazing Stories in 1986. He happens to be the third man to voice for the famous cartoon mouse Mickey that came into existence in tinsel town from 1928. Allwine was first heard as Mickey on The New Mickey Mouse Club and followed on with more versions. It is noteworthy that his wife Russi Taylor had rendered her voice for Minnie Mouse since 1986.
