Reportedly, for his film PEEPLI LIVE, Aamir Khan auditioned its director to make sure that he was betting on the right person. Though Aamir had liked the subject but he was not too sure about the directorial abilities of Anusha Rizvi. So he told her to shoot five sequences before making up his mind.
Finally, impressed by Rizvi's filmmaking skills, Aamir had no option but to sign on the dotted line. And the rest they say is history.
PEEPLI LIVE deals with the subject of farmer's suicide and is produced by Aamir Khan's production house.
