Aushima does a Kajol of DDLJ

Remember Kajol in a red dress, after she chugged a bottle of cognac and ran around Switzerland singing "Zara sa jhoom loon mein" .... Well, something similar happened while shooting a song for Raaja Mukerjee's LIFE ISSE GALE LAGA LE with Aushima Sawhney (of SUPERSTAR fame) and her co-star Rishi.
But this time the actors didn't get drunk, instead Aushima wore the exact same short red dress as Kajol in DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE, for a song sequence. "Gale lag ja" will closely remind you of Simran in Switzerland, here Aushima is in beautiful red against the snow cape mountain. The crew of the film decided to cancel the shoot in Manali and move to Chandigarh as it was raining for 4 days at a stretch. As a chopper is used in this song for a scene, the pilot assured the crew the weather would get better and everyone could continue to shoot. After which the local people of Manali got into a dispute with the crew as the chopper almost blew their homes out.
When asked Aushima about her experience in Manali, she said "I think god is on my side, as shooting on a cliff 6000 feet high for three days, where it's freezing cold, was ample of fun but wasn't easy and I had a deal with Raaja, that I would wear a short red dress only if the entire crew were given no jackets to cover themselves."
