HUM TUM AUR GHOST has released and Dia Mirza can be caught in a happy mood. Rightly so since it has been after a long gap that she has been seen in a film where she is the only leading lady and is not just present from start to finish but is also an integral part of the narrative.
With her on-screen romantic tale with Arshad Warsi looking quite enticing, the buzz within the industry is that Dia should be seen in more romcom entertainers like HUM TUM AUR GHOST.

"You know what; this is actually the first reaction of everyone whom I have come across", smiles Dia, "For so many years, I have been hearing people say that you should be doing films like these. I don't want to take away the credit of anything that I have been a part of so far. However, the fact remains that this is the first ever film of mine where I have enjoyed seeing myself."
On being asked if she is quite emotional about her entire experience of working in HUM TUM AUR GHOST, Dia replies, "And that's for all the right reasons! I truly believe that this is one film that has brought out the best of me."
She is aware about the fact that basically the film is about Arshad and his encounter with ghosts. "Ok, so I may not be the central protagonist in the film but then the character of Gehna is so nuanced and powerful that it has a certain refreshing nature about it", she says, "You know, every time this character comes on screen, she has something to contribute to the screenplay via means of humorous or dramatic elements. There is this plethora of emotions in this character due to which I can now look back at the entire experience and say - 'Maza aa gaya'. It was indeed quite a satiating experience."
