Riteish on JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI vs HOUSEFULL

For Riteish Deshmukh, these are eventful days ahead. In a single month, he would be enjoying two high profile films of his releasing within three weeks of each other -JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI and HOUSEFULL. He plays the lead in both the films though latter is spearheaded by Akshay Kumar. However, the common factor amongst both the films is their feel good genre with good dose of comedy in them.
"Well, these are the kind of films that I really believe in", says Riteish who has proved his forte time and again as far as comic performances are concerned. Though he was quite good in RANN as well, the film unfortunately failed at the box office and so did Riteish's hope of showcasing a different facet of his acting talent.
CHECK OUT: HOUSEFULL - Music Review
However, with JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI and HOUSEFULL, he is returning to a familiar territory. "Comedy in HOUSEFULL is completely whacked out. It is over the top where things would be really on your face at one moment and then suddenly, the next scene would be far more subtle. There is a fine balance. On the other hand JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI follows a romcom mood throughout. It is extremely youthful though the subtlety element is prevalent right through its duration."
No wonder, one can expect Riteish to be inundated with comedy films if both these films click at the box office.
Laughs Riteish, "I hope they do. After being around for 7-8 years now, I certainly know the way industry embraces success. I won't be surprised if a plethora of comic films start coming my way after these films. However, given an opportunity, I would still continue to pick those genres as well that are different from comedy."
JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI releases on 9th April while HOUSEFULL releases on 30th April.
