Sabyasachi Mukherjee: I have not cast Vidya Balan

A few days back the news about ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee directing his maiden film was out in a leading publication. Not only that, it was also reported that the designer has cast Vidya Balan in the lead for the film. While it made headlines for some time, but now the story has been denied by the designer himself.

Speaking to Glamsham .Com, the designer expressed surprise about the name of Vidya Balan popping in his film project. Throwing more details about it, Sabyasachi says, "The only fact is that I'm planning to direct a film. Actually, I have been thinking about it for a while and finally all this is coming together now. But, I haven't decided about the star cast of the film. When I read the news that Vidya will play the lead in my film, it actually was news for me too. I'm still giving finishing touches to my script and in some weeks I will think about the star cast."
Sabyasachi, who is one of the most sought after designer in the film fraternity is all set to showcase his genius on the big screen with his directorial debut which is scheduled to go on the floor in the second half of this year.
