Warner Bros' 3D animation Hindi film BIRD IDOL

Warner Bros. presents a Goel Screencraft production, BIRD IDOL which is scheduled to release on 23rd April 2010 worldwide, revealed its first look today by unveiling its poster on glamsham.com. It is a 3D animation Hindi lingual film having the duration of 100 minutes. Directed by Jyotin Goel, the film has music composed by Sangeet Haldipur and Siddharth Haldipur where the ace singers Shaan & Kailash Kher have given their voices.
The director of BIRD IDOL Jyotin Goel says, "The creative thought behind the first look poster of our film is based on a saying by the famous Director Alfred Hitchcock- The more successful the villain, the more successful the picture. It has inspired us as we have shown the biggest possible villain in our poster whose name is Dhamki and four of our main characters including our hero Hummi and his love interest Surili with their two friends are playing music on its nose and forehead. We have tried to illustrate the victory over evil by the means of music. The film is not based on the human kingdom but portrays the melodious world of birds and attempts to explore their lives from an unusual standpoint. It is a journey into the lives of birds as they soar over dense jungles and teeming cities, giving them a point of view of the world that is hilariously different from ours."
The story revolves around a bird called 'Hummi' who is not happy with the bird music and is greatly impressed by human music and how he introduces human music to the bird music by entering into a competition called Bird Idol and with his genuine effort he puts himself and his parents into trouble.
Jyotin further adds, "We are aiming at the family audience as whole coz you know that animated movies have a wide spectrum worldwide and this movie will not only be loved by children but their family members as well. It is a heart warming beautiful story which will melt their hearts."
Jyotin Goel has personally produced five Hindi feature films and directed three, including hits like ZAHREELAY and INAAM DUS HAZAR. He has also written and directed a science-fiction-based Television show, Antariksh (2007), which won the Sansui and Indian Television Academy awards for visual effects.
