Not many know that the sizzling babe in ‘Kites’, Barbara Mori had survived from the brutal and merciless disease of cancer.
Barbara showed lot of character and bravery to overcome the illness that has swallowed lives of many. Not just her, director of ‘Kites’, Anurag Basu had also survived cancer by battling for his life, a few years back.
Having realized that both of them are fighters in real life, the director and his actress have started to emotionally bond and become ‘soul buddies’. When a person survives from the jaws of death with such illness they tend to be mentally stronger and have a fresh lease of life.
A beauty such as Barbara and a talented director Anurag, cancer has made them stronger now. On an ending note, a celebrity or not, cancer doesn’t spare anyone. Love all, serve all.
