Deepika: I don't want media to be my match maker

Ever since her very official break up with Ranbir, there has been no confirmation from Deepika's end around a new relationship. Though there has been a byte or two from her that has teased people about her 'single status', an official word on the records is yet to come by. In absence of any conformation from her, it is but natural for idle minds to join the dots and throw in some insinuations that could result in Deepika opening up about the presence of someone special in her life.
"Sorry, but I don't want media to play cupid here", Deepika announces in no uncertain terms, "Especially, I don't want media to be my match maker with anyone out there. I don't need that."
CHECK OUT: There is lot more enthusiasm in HOUSEFULL
Such reaction from Deepika doesn't really come with a precedent. No, she is not being rude, impolite or coming up with an 'I-don't-care-a-damn' attitude. However, a stern stand from her vis-a-vis her personal life is being conveyed in a very business like manner which pretty much closes doors for all speculations, idle gossips or loose talk.
For a young woman who has always been known for being quite candid about her relationships and never once to hide any aspect of her personal life which spills over her public space, why is Deepika not making any announcement which could shut rumour mongers once and for all?
"As you rightly said it, I have always been extremely honest about my relationship", Deepika cools down here, "
Par yahan to kuch react karne ke liye hi nahi. Kya link up, kaisa link up? I have nothing to say anything at all because it is all so ridiculous. Come on, if I am working with someone then I will go out with him and spend some time. That doesn't equate to a suggestion that I am having a romantic involvement with a guy."
Point noted Deepika
