Navneet Kaur speaks about her re-entry

Navneet Kaur made her debut in the film Arasangam. After a long gap she is doing the female lead role in the film Ambasamudarm Ambani. While speaking to the media, she said,” After Arasangam I got lot of offers.
At the same time I also got offers from Telugu film industry. I selected the Telugu films. So I settled there. After this I acted in Malayalam films. But I did not think of Tamil films and Tamil film industry also did not think of me. About my re-entry through the film Ambasamudaram Ambani, I cannot say that it is re-entry. I can say that this is my first Tamil film because my role has so much significance. In fact in all the films I have acted, I have only paired with the heroes.
That’s all. I have donned an important role in this film. There is news that I was reluctant to act with comedy actor. There is no truth in this. When they told me the story and asked me whether I was willing to act, I readily agreed. I did not even ask who the hero was. Only when I acted with Karunas I was able to understand that he was not comedian alone but he had great acting skills hidden within himself. When it comes to acting I will only see what my role is.
I will not see with whom I am pairing with. I have donned the role of a bank manager in this film. I will be in love with Karunas who struggles to come in life. Though my role is serious, my activities will be humorous. One should have courage to act in comedy roles. With regard to my marriage, though I have not acted in Tamil films, there were rumors that I have married an industrialist. That is not true and I have not thought about marriage now.”
