Enquiries in Kollywood revealed that Kaavalkaran the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit film Bodyguard is a short-term project. The film’s shooting had begun a month ago and had been moving on at a rapid speed. Going by the words of industry sources, Kaavalkaran could be completed in June or July.Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay, who plays the male lead in this film, will then move on to a project that is to be directed by Jayam Raja and produced by Aascar Films. If everything falls in place, Raja and Vijay would begin the project once the latter completes the Kaavalkaran assignment.Meanwhile, there is a buzz going on that Vijay will don one of the roles in the remake of 3 Idiots. This film’s Tamil rights have been procured by Gemini Film Circuit. It is worth mentioning here that Vijay had expressed his desire to work in this remake when his fans wanted to know if he would.
