After a supporting role in KURBAAN that saw good appreciation coming the way ofVivek Oberoi, its an altogether different ballgame for the actor now with PRINCE ready to unleash in a few hours from now. With fast moving vehicles, hot babes, non stop thrills and some smart dialogues ruling the roost, Vivek can well be expected to have had fun in this adrenalin pumping Bondisque setup.
"That was indeed the case", says Vivek who is going all out to promote PRINCE which could well be his comeback vehicle, "The film has been a dream come true for me. I can proudly say that by far, it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have always yearned to do a fast paced action thriller with slick values and an entertaining script. In each of these aspects, PRINCE has far exceeded my expectations."
CHECK OUT: Producer Kumar Taurani hopeful about PRINCE
One still waits to see how the final product indeed turns out to be. Yes, it's a known fact that first time director Kookie Gulati comes with some very strong background when it comes to making music videos. However, making a film is an altogether different ballgame. So, what is it in him that sets Kookie apart from many newcomer directors who announce their arrival?
"Kookie was an absolute pleasure to work with", says Vivek in an affectionate tone, "He has tremendous passion, sincerity and most importantly he is absolutely clear about what he wants. I think he was born to be a director and PRINCE is his destiny calling."
Starring three leading ladies - Aruna Shields, Nandana Sen and Neeru Singh - each of whom plays a mysterious character named 'Maya' in the film, PRINCE also marks the debut of Isaiah as the main villain. Also starring Sanjay Kapoor, Dalip Tahil and Rajesh Khattar in supporting roles, PRINCE releases all over this Friday.
