Music maestro A R Rahman's daughter Raheema was admitted to the Asian Heart Hospital in Mumbai earlier this week following cardiac problems related to a congenital heart defect but is recovering fast.
"For the past three nights, I have exclusively been playing the role of a loving father, with no music, nothing. I want to sincerely thank all my friends and family members for their prayers and good wishes. God has been kind and Raheema is recovering fast. I also want to thank all my friends from the media for their support and for respecting our privacy," Rahman posted on his Twitter page.
The 11-year-old was operated upon by on Wednesday night. Rahman has two more children - daughter Khatija, 14 and 5-year-old son Ameen.
We too join in A R Rahman’s prayers for the speedy recovery of Raheema.
