Kushboo's political plans

Amidst speculation that she would be nominated to the Upper House of the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Kushboo, who recently joined the ruling DMK, says she is not behind plum posts and she would go by the decision of the party leadership.
"I am not expecting any specific post from the party. I am just a member and I have not joined DMK with any ulterior motive. I just want to serve the people and the party," says the actor-politician.
At the same time, the yesteryear heartthrob is not ready to say no if the party comes forward to give her a post. "If the leadership thinks that I am suitable for a post and select me, I am ready to accept it. I will obey whatever my party says."
Recalling her first public meeting at Thiruvanmiyur on Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi's birthday last week, she says: "Speaking in a public meeting in front of a huge crowd and senior politicians needs courage and confidence. But the feedback I received for my first speech was excellent and motivating. I want to deliver better speeches in the future. "
