Oviya goes to Kannada

Although much in demand in Kollywood ‘Kalavani’ Oviya is very choosy in selecting her films. After her first film the Kerala beauty has signed only two films in Tamils. One is 'Sevanu' directed by cameraman Jeevan who directed Pa. Vijay's 'Gnabagangal'. The other is 'Agam Nee.. Mugam Naan' directed by debutante Saravanan.
While the demand is still there in Kollywood, Oviya was simultaneously scanning other woods also. That effort of hers has brought result. Oviya has been signed for a Kannada film to be directed by veteran director S.Narayan.
It’s no doubt an intelligent move by Oviya to work in other languages even as she is a beginner in Tamil. She might have thought it’s better to do film in other languages when the career is on a high rather than looking for opportunities when it is fading in one language
