Indian cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh's debut film 'Patta Patti 50-50' is back in the news. The film which was looking for release date is has managed to get closer to that. The film is produced by Muraliraman and directed by debutant Yuvaraj, former associate of Chimbu Devan and Jayam Raja. 'Patta Patti' is a fulfilled village cricket story and Ramesh plays a cricket coach to the village team which is to play a game for honour. The film with traces of 'Lagaan' and 'Chennai 600028' is very entertaining in the words of those who have seen it.
Now the good news in reviving the fortunes of the film is that, the producer of the sleeper hit 'Kalavani', Nazir had seen 'Patta Patti' and out rightly acquired the film saying it has all ingredients to be a hit. Nazir’s intuition has proved successful more than once before. So it seems there is another winner in hands.
