TUM MILE releases today and Emraan Hashmi would certainly be looking at a hat trick affair after the success of JANNAT and RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES. Oblivious to the number game around him and content with having his own place under the sun, Emraan has made a career out of unconventional roles, something which is apparent in TUM MILE as well which defies Bollywood stereotypes and promises an altogether new experience for audiences.
While he has been doing well as an actor after spending more than half a decade in the industry, does Emraan have any plans to turn producer and make a film of his own? After all his contemporary Aftab Shivdasani has already turned producer with AAO WISH KAREIN while even Dino Morea is said to be seriously contemplating getting into production.
"I don't even want to be at the hot seat", immediately says Emraan in a tone of mock horror, "Mukeshji (Bhatt) tells me that being a producer is the toughest job in the world. I agree with him since he comes with decades of film making performance. Today I am happy being an actor. Any aspirations of being a producer are best kept on hold for a later stage."
Even as an actor, Emraan Hashmi is taking it slow with only one film currently on floors - ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI - a rare two lead film for him which has Ajay Devgn heading the cast. Emraan is also the lead protagonist in 24x7 RAFTAAR which is almost ready and is expected to arrive in first half of 2010.
