Neha Dhupia returns with Priyadarshan

While Katrina Kaif is the leading lady in DE DANA DAN, Neha Dhupia also plays an important role in the film. She plays the role of a naughty club singer who has a 'bindaas' attitude towards life and is a 'huge advantage taker'. However, not many are aware that this is not the first time when Neha is acting in a Priyadarshan directed film. Earlier, she has worked with him in CHUP CHUP KE where Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor the main leads.
'The role is quite spunky this time around in DE DANA DAN', says Neha who is not perturbed with the fact that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif may walk away with all the limelight, 'While some people look at the kind of screen time that they have on screen, for me what is of utmost importance is whether I am adding value to the time I am seen and whether I am effective or not. Of what I know of DE DANA DAN and have seen of it, I am sure I have done enough justice.'

Since in CHUP CHUP KE, Kareena Kapoor played the role of a mute girl, Neha Dhupia as her confidante got most of the lines to mouth. In fact many felt that she didn't perform anything lesser. So has Priyadarshan rewarded her with a better role in DE DANA DAN?
'Well, I don't know if it's an even better role but it's a good role for sure', says Neha in a diplomatic tone, 'There is a lot of spark in my role for sure.'
To her credit, other than the scenes that she has in the film, Neha would be seen in an item number titled 'Hotty Naughty' which is crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan.
