Riteish: Half information is always bad information

Shortly after the release of Riteish Deshmukh's last release ALADIN, it was reported that the young actor was seen sulking on the sets of Ram Gopal Varma's RANN. There were two theories making the rounds. While the first stated that it was due to Riteish's disappointment over the tanking of ALADIN at the box office, another was that he was 'instructed' to behave in such manner in order to get into the 'skin of the character' that he portrayed in RANN.
Amused by this piece of news making the rounds, Riteish chose to completely ignore the insinuation and carried on with his personal and professional life. Now as RANN has released, Riteish can't help smiling as he looks back at the entire episode. "The problem is that half information is always bad information", says Riteish who was caught unaware when he was first asked about this three months ago.
CHECK OUT: PAA's pristine form continues with RANN!
"Me sulking on the sets of my own film? Now can it sound stranger than that? In fact it all sounded so amusing to me that there was nothing for me to react. It was gossip at its funniest", remarks Riteish who had to bring on a serious persona (at least for camera) while shooting for RANN.
Buoyed by the confidence showed in him by the film maker of Ramu's calibre, Riteish is now hopeful that his performance would speak for itself in RANN and he would be looked upon as a far more versatile actor.
"I am open to all kinds of roles being offered. Eventually I hope that when people conceive non-comic characters, they think of me as well", signs off Riteish.
