Ajay Devgn: Earlier, no one ever dared to be different

A new approach in his very outlook towards his professional career can be seen in a way he is going around picking up films. Till about five years back, who would have expected an actor like Ajay to be doing a medium budget quintessential cosmopolitan film like ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? which has settled down to be a decent winner at the box office?

"But then I have been doing this for so many years now? It is surprising that you are making a note of it now when I have worked on diverse films like RAINCOAT, ZAKHM and THAKSHAK at regular intervals. Somehow all this news about me doing varied films is catching heat today when the fact remains that I have been working in such set ups even when not many were stepping out in this direction", protests Ajay who definitely has a valid point to make.
The fact is that he did actually pick up aforementioned films even as he was doing well with the likes of QAYAMAT, GOLMAAL, HINDUSTAN KI KASAM or DILJALE. "I wanted to try out different things all the time. Some worked and some didn't work but then I have no regrets. I was trying at the least. No one else actually dared to do anything different", Ajay makes a point her with facts to state.
Now one waits to see everything different that Ajay has to offer in his forthcoming films like RAJNEETI, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI, GARAM HAWA, TOONPUR KA SUPERHERO and GOLMAAL 3, all of which are set to release this year.
