Dibakar: Hidden films and sting operations fetch eyeballs

It is a known fact by now that this Friday's release LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA has sex and voyeurism forming a major driving force of the narrative. Meanwhile film maker Dibakar Banerjee says that though this is a sad reality, it is indeed the true projection of where the society is headed towards.
'You may not like to believe it but the fact is that sex does find itself being used as a tool by many to get ahead in life and be famous. One act and you may just earn yourself those 15 minutes of fame on TV. No wonder, we have things like private phone/video conversations, hidden films and sting operations fetching so many eyeballs year after year. Come on guys, let's face it rather than running away from it', he reasons.

Well, truly stumped with the logic shared and literally left mute with no more arguments available to be made, all one can do is wait for the film to arrive in theaters. While we are certainly left uncomfortable with the entire idea of a film like this being made, Dibakar continues to be oozing oodles of confidence.
'And why shouldn't I be', counter questions Dibakar, 'We have shown the film to so many people and the response has been phenomenal all over. Our basic idea was to make an edgy film for an edgy audience and that intent has pretty much been met. So far, we have had 20 odd screenings and the response that we have got has completely thrown me away. Guess what; even so many housewives have called up to say that the film has stayed with them long after the screening was through.'
Well, one looks forward to catching up on what Dibakar has to offer in his newest offering. Starring a bunch of newcomers, LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA releases all over on 19th March.
