Till a few months, there was a strong buzz in the industry circles that Tanushree Dutta and Neetu Chandra may well be playing lesbians in Jagmohan Mundhra's thriller APARTMENT. However, everyone associated with the film vehemently denied the rumours and said that the film was primarily a thriller.
CHECK OUT: Tanushree goes super short for APARTMENT
While Tanushree has confirmed that she doesn't have any bedroom scenes with her counterpart Neetu in APARTMENT, one does ask her a hypothetical question which is - 'If such an 'opportunity' came her way where she had to get intimate with a female actress for camera, would she be game for it?' After all she has always maintained that invention is the name of the game. In such a scenario, why not take the lead and come up with a revolutionary film set in commercial mould that may set new benchmark for Bollywood?
"Puhleeze, I have agreed to do bold scenes in the past but I am not bold enough to try something like this at all", Tanushree comes up with an outright rejection to the idea, "Personally, I am not comfortable with these film themes revolving around same-sex. Hats off to John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan to have tried that and come up trumps in DOSTANA. It's amazing that they actually managed to get it just right but I can't even think of stepping into their shoes. Arrey baba, I have seen careers of so many actors setting backward after attempting such roles; this is why I don't even think in this direction."
Now if she is referring to Eesha Koppikhar and Amrita Arora in the atrocious GIRLFRIEND, she is definitely not saying it.
