UTV movies a rage at International Film Festivals

UTV's titles have traveled the length and breadth of the globe making their presence felt across festivals. From Italy to Shanghai, from Moscow to New York movies from the UTV stable have been creating the buzz. Anurag Kashyap's DEV D, Paresh Mokashi's HARISHCHANDRACHI FACTORY, Vishal Bharadwaj's KAMINEY, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's DELHI 6, OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE and Aamir Khan Productions' PEEPLI LIVE (co - produced by UTV Motion Pictures) have had tremendous response at the screenings across various festivals.
Anurag Kashyap's cult film DEV D follows its prestigious Venice showing last year with a Japanese premiere at the Osaka Asian Film Festival in March. DEV D has been a favourite on the film festival circuit with screenings at the Venice International Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Belgrade International Film Festival, Tiburon International Film Festival (in March), Palm Springs International Film Festival, and Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece. Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's DELHI 6 was recently screened at the Belgrade International Film Festival in Serbia
National Award winner HARISHCHANDRACHI FACTORY has been traveling the festival circuit across the world. HARISCHANDRACHI FACTORY was recently screened at the Cinema Mundi International Film Festival in Czechoslovakia with director Paresh Mokashi in attendance. HARISCHANDRACHI FACTORY will also be screened at the Los Angeles for the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles in April along with KAMINEY. HARISCHANDRACHI FACTORY was also screened at the Floating Film Festival in the US in February and will be seen by Polish audiences in Krakow at the OffPlus Camera Film Festival, also screened at South Asian International Film Festival at New York and in the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival of India in Goa
A WEDNESDAY won the Public Award for Best Film award at the 15th Lyon Asian Film Festival in France and was also screened at Shanghai International Film festival, Bollywood & Beyond International Film Festival last year.
Vishal Bhardwaj's KAMINEY traveled to Sweden in January for the Goteborg International Film Festival. KAMINEY was also screened in the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, and the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image last year.
PEEPLI LIVE premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in the World Dramatic Cinema competition followed by its European premiere at the Berlin Film Festival where it received a standing ovation.
OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE! continued its strong showing at film festivals with the 33rd Sao Paulo International Film Festival and at the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival of India in Goa.
UTV's other hits like A WEDNESDAY! and FASHION were screened at the 15th Lyon Asian Film Festival in France, and the Kaohsiung Film Festival in Taiwan, respectively. FASHION was also screened at Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival and Moscow International Film Festival last year.
UTV has a major showing at the Bollywood and Beyond - Indian Film Festival 2010 in Australia in March. DEV D and KAMINEY are screening in the Bollywood section while HARISHCHANDRACHI FACTORY is being shown as part of the Beyond ollywood section.
