From a small town in UP to the tinsel town Mumbai, from music videos and modelling to acting as a main lead, newbie Arshi seems to be climbing up the success ladder rather quickly. Arshi will be making her Bollywood debut in Aman Films Production film ‘Admissions Open’ produced by Mohd.Israr Ansari and directed by K.D Satyam(Zima) and is extremely excited about its release. “I am really thrilled and excited about May 14, the day my debut film release,” says the lissom lass chirpily.
Talking about her role in the film Arshi says, “I play a headstrong girl who scores less but doesn’t have a conventional approach to her career. She doesn’t want to do things set by decree and wants to make her own way. It’s a role many college going girls will identify with.”
“I couldn’t get a better start than Admissions Open. There was so much to learn from this film. The best part was that I got great insight into acting from the veteran Anupam Kher who also stars in the movie. Like a father figure he always guided me; be it in delivering my dialogues and acting. I hope people will appreciate my performance,” she adds.
